2019 vendor invitation

If you would like to be a 2019 vendor, please read this carefully before proceeding to fill out the 2019 application.

Hello Vendor!

You are invited to be a vendor at our fifth annual Cheese Festival on Main Street in scenic Little Falls on Saturday, July 13, 2019. The event will run from 10 am to 5 pm, rain or shine.

This festival was created to showcase New York artisan cheesemakers and unique food producers and to celebrate the historic roots of Little Falls’ cheese market, which set the price of cheese nationwide. Come share a summer Saturday with us, selling your fine products to an appreciative audience from Central New York–-and beyond. The 2018 event was highly successful with several vendors selling out early!

Vendors are accepted by juried selection. The success of the Festival relies on keeping a tight focus on cheese and gourmet cheese-related products. This enables us to draw in people from far afield, prepared to spend serious money. The committee recognizes the need to limit and constrain the non-cheese presence in order not to dilute that focus.

Please include a thorough description of your products and (if you wish to be a new vendor) photos of your booth setup. You will not have exclusive rights to the sale of any product.

All vendors must supply their own attractive shelter with proper signage and adequate tie-downs. You will be on blacktop. You must supply your own table, seating, ice, adequate change and any other amenities that you or your products may need. If you require electricity, please be aware that the 2019 Festival will restrict electrical access to compact/inversion generators. You must meet all local regulations, post any required permits and licenses, and provide proof of liability insurance.

IMPORTANT DETAILS: Rental space sizes are 10’ x 10’ or 10’ x 20’. Prices start at $50 for a 10′ x 10′ space and $90 for a 10′ x 20′ space. Prices increase after December 31, 2018. Final registration/payment deadline is May 1, 2019. 

Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Little Falls is easily accessible from the NYS Thruway, I-90 (a few minutes off Exit 29A), as well as Routes 5 and 5S.

DAY-OF-FESTIVAL DETAILS: Set-up for all vendors is from 7:30 am to 9:30 am. Your booth must stay in place for the duration of the festival. No early tear-downs allowed. A no-show or early tear-down will result in no further invitations to future Cheese Festivals.

PUBLICITY: The Cheese Festival has a website which will list all vendors with links to their websites, answer FAQs, and provide directions to Little Falls. Social media will also publicize the Cheese Festival. Regional media from Western New York to the Hudson Valley and beyond (newspapers, magazines, radio, local TV stations, etc.) will receive press releases and updates as the festival approaches.
