The Little Falls Cheese Festival is a committee-run, not-for-profit event that began in 2015, aiming to showcase New York’s talented cheesemakers and celebrate Little Falls’ storied dairying history. With the help of Main Street First, the local government and many volunteers, we’ve continued to follow this mission and grow our little festival.

For the 2025 festival, we’re celebrating our 10th anniversary and the wonderful variety of cheese produced in New York State. In 2023, we, with the help of the Little Falls Historical Society, highlighted Little Falls’ history as a global cheese capital.
